Your contributions help fund our programs
Your membership dollars help fund the numerous PTA sponsored events. In addition, membership gives you voting privileges at PTA General Membership Meetings. You have a voice in deciding how PTA funds should be spent, and you have a voice in guiding the PTA objectives. Of course, volunteering is always appreciated, but being a member does not require one to offer time or services.
If you’re still not convinced, consider this: There have been over 80 studies conducted in the past 35 years that show that when parents are involved in their child’s school, the child’s grades improve, and test scores and attendance increase. Every child wins with a strong PTA.

(3) JUST WRITE A CHECK. Make your check payable to “NC PTA,” and either send it to the Volunteer Office or mail your check to Alice Marks (see your directory for the address). Please include your child's name, grade, and teacher's name on the check.

At Neil Cummins, there is such a thing as a free lunch! Support our school by joining the PTA before October 31, 2009, and and be automatically entered in a drawing for a free hot lunch and other fun prizes. Membership dollars are used to purchase classroom supplies and to fund important programs, including field trips, assemblies, campus improvement, art instruction, health & safety supplies and more!
